Graythwaite Adventure provides award winning outdoor adventure experiences on the private Graythwaite Estate; 5,000 acres of woodland, parkland and lake frontage on the southwest shore of Windermere.

Enjoy 4x4 off-road driving on the challenging course with stunning views or clay pigeon shooting, archery or axe throwing at our shooting site, nestled in the heart of the estate. Bushcraft experiences are held in the ancient woodland where you’ll learn some of the fundamentals of outdoor survival. We may be biased but April to October we run watersports from one of the most beautiful locations on the lake; kayaking, paddleboarding and canoeing, hire or lessons, and RIB boat tours.

Ideal for couples, families, groups and corporate events. We offer only private experiences, meaning we don't mix bookings so each will be tailored for you and your party run by our friendly and experienced instructional team. Relying on inner energy, sunshine and coffee, we run the year-round land based activities and the watersports site off-grid. Our ethos is simple; we love to share.
