Lakeland Model Village

Special Offer

Don't miss this great offer from Lakeland Model Village

This offer may be subject to availability and our terms and conditions.

The Lakeland Model Village features several dozen buildings made of local Coniston slate, each lovingly constructed over the last 25 years by local builder Edward Robinson. Each building has been handcrafted to replicate some of Cumbria’s most iconic farms and cottages including Beatrix Potters house, Hilltop and the Bridge House, Ambleside.
Following Edward Robinson’s retirement, each building has been carefully relocated to their new home in the grounds of the Damson Dene Hotel against the stunning backdrop of the Lyth Valley, allowing visitors and families the opportunity to enjoy their history once more.
After visiting the Lakeland Model Village, visitors can enjoy lunch in the hotel bar or day passes are available for the hotel swimming pool and leisure club.
