The World of Beatrix Potter is a colourful place where Potter’s enchanting tales of the Lake District countryside are magically recreated. Here, you can explore a stunning exhibit filled with your favourite characters, an award-winning outdoor Peter Rabbit Garden, The New Laundry Cafe and their world-famous gift shop. All generations are welcome to experience the magic of Potter’s tales, meet mischievous characters, and celebrate one of the greatest literary legacies.
During your visit, take part in one of their many family-friendly events, including tea parties with Peter Rabbit, exploring woodland trails with Jemima Puddle-Duck and Jeremy Fisher, or a partnership event in nature like Meet the RSPB.
Take a break in The New Laundry Cafe. Whether you pop in for a quick coffee, a lunch-time snack, or a delicious afternoon treat, their menu of freshly baked goods is simply irresistible. The café is open from 10 am to closing time every day. However, during the school summer holidays, the café will close at 3.30 pm for the pre-booked Teatime Treat with Peter Rabbit.
Discover the Lake District, nature, and the extraordinary World of Beatrix Potter.
We are re-open from Saturday 1st August 2020, with a mandatory face covering rule, reduced ticket prices to reflect the VAT reduction, and both our cafe and shop open. Buy your tickets at the box office, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
