After a jam-packed day of eating and drinking your way through the Lakes, you may just want a little ‘me’ time. We’ve got your back! Packaged into your stay at the Riverside Hotel is access to their Sanctuary Health and Fitness Club. With a heated swimming pool, sauna, and exercise studio, you can work up a sweat or work off the pounds. Though we do recommend a leisurely swim at the end of the evening for a truly relaxing experience.
The Brewery Arts Centre
The Brewery arts centre in Kendal is a hub of all kinds of art: it’s got theatre, cinema, exhibitions, comedy, music and much much more. They even offer delicious meals and takeaway pizza! With so much to do under one roof, there’s something for everyone!
Lake District Summer Music
Or, if you’re staying between July 25th - August 9th, why not catch a performance from the Lake District Summer Music Festival? Hosted internationally, Kendal’s St Thomas’s and St George’s Churches will house 5 acts over the festival period. You can book your tickets online beforehand and spend your evening taking in the beautiful instrumental music of local talent.
