Mountain Goat launches 48-hour Lake District pass

Mountain Goat has teamed up with a host of popular Lake District attractions to
launch a brand-new 48-hour Lake District pass, designed to help visitors make the
most of their time in the region while supporting local businesses.

The two-day pass offers a carefully curated itinerary showcasing some of the Lake
District’s most iconic experiences. Day One includes the award-winning Ten Lakes
Spectacular tour, a full day guided journey through some of the most breathtaking
landscapes in the area.

The tour travels through picturesque villages to ten lakes, giving passengers a unique perspective on the region and benefitting local shops, cafes, and cultural sites along the way. It's also a great way to leave the car behind.

Day Two allows visitors the opportunity to explore The World of Beatrix PotterAttraction, bringing to life the magical stories of the renowned children’s author.
Guests will also enjoy a scenic cruise on England’s largest lake with WindermereLake Cruises, followed by a nostalgic ride on the charming Lakeside andHaverthwaite Railway.

Both the cruise and train are return journeys, so customers are getting a full day experience with the pass. As a bonus, the pass offers visitors a 15% discount, helping them fit multiple iconic attractions into their itinerary at even greater value.

Asia Connor, Group Sales and Marketing Manager at Mountain Goat, said: "We already work so closely with various attractions across the National Park and that's something we’re really proud of. With this Pass, we hope to encourage visitors to come and explore as much of the Lakes as possible. We hope to extend the pass to include further attractions and experiences as time goes on."

The 48-Hour Lake District Pass is now available to buy online via the Mountain Goat website or at the Windermere Information Centre.
