A big fan of the farm to fork movement Simon has always been passionate about using fresh, seasonable ingredients which are local, from trusted long standing suppliers or from his farm to showcase the tastes, textures and fragrances surrounding the natural world.
Since then he now owns and operates the neighbourhood restaurant Rogan & Co, 16 bespoke bedrooms and suites, ‘Our Farm’, Aulis Cartmel - a development kitchen and chef's table, Shop and Simon Rogan at home from Cartmel, which is nestled in the heart of Cumbria and surrounded by rolling green fields.
To celebrate this milestone and the two decades since the restaurant group was born, Simon and his team have created 20 extraordinary moments which will take place in 2022. These will include one-off events, special-edition products and other commemorative experiences - both at home and away, throughout next year.
The first of the anniversary events will take place at Henrock this January, where Simon will be cooking some of his favourite dishes from the last 20 years. The menu will feature dishes from all of his restaurants, including those in The Lakes, London, Hong Kong and from various openings and events over the years.
