Santa’s Boat Building Workshop, Old Windermere Fire Station

‘Tis the season to be jolly! And nothing fuels joy like learning something new. Windermere Jetty has partnered with Father Christmas himself to bring the gift of boat crafting to children of all ages. Witness traditional boat making skills before creating your own miniature version that’ll last a lifetime. Tickets are only £4.50 each and include all crafting supplies. Plus, for groups of 5 children or more, you can book an exclusive private elf workshop before Christmas Eve.

Windermere Christmas Celebration

Descend into Windermere from the 14th - 15th of December for a Winter Wonderland filled with sweet treats, live music, and a very merry Christmas. Hawkshead Brewery will be manning a stall serving a whole range of beers. Plus, Windermere Lake Cruises and Mountain Goat have partnered to supply a sail and ride service over the entire weekend. They’ll have a special shuttle bus taking you from Bowness Pier and into the heart of Windermere Village.
